I’m J. Redel – artist, photographer, desert wanderer, and collector of all things that catch my eye.
I’m drawn to the overlooked and forgotten: abandoned cabins, rusty signs, weathered buildings, desert roads, wildflowers, rocks, and the beautiful things most people drive right past.
I paint what I feel, photograph what remains, and wander wherever curiosity takes me.
This site is a collection of those wanderings – my photography, paintings, thoughts, discoveries, and bits and pieces of a life still very much being lived.
